Health Quiz Game at Citifield

by Steve on November 3, 2011

We were asked to design and develop this original Health Quiz game at North Shore-LIJ’s Health and Wellness Information Center at Citi Field. The spin-the-wheel quiz game revolves (no pun intended!) around a group of selectable health topics.

The goal was for the game to be engaging and fun; the user was to be able to spin the wheel with their finger on a touch screen or push the Spin button. Sound effects for the spinning wheel as well as right and wrong answers add to the fun. The rotating marquee lights give the game a carnival-like feel.

Give it a try!

Website Launch

by Steve on October 21, 2011

The Po River Valley in Northern Italy is  very fertile and all kinds of gourmet specialty food can be had from there. The folks starting up the company came to us to design their website. They originally wanted to – and ended up getting – an ecommerce site, but it was at first not within their budget.

When we started to design their site, they were so in love with it they just had to have the ecommerce. We used a bolt-on ecommerce system that enabled them to have the functionality without the larger price tag, although they needed to sacrifice some features.

Collateral Design

by Steve on October 21, 2011

Our client asked us to a design a overview piece to put the various things he offers in front his clients. He didn’t want the sheet to contain lots of words or narrative of any kind, rather something fun and something that underscored his brand.

His reaction to what we did? “Absolutely love it! Amazing … absolutely superb!” Guess he liked it.

He wanted to utilize it further and asked us to implement the same design on a business card and a greeting card.

by Steve on April 9, 2009

Roe Bio-Medical Products came to us to design their original website, and several years later they were ready for a new, updated and comprehensive design. Their products are presented in organized detail, and the color palette of their new website coordinates with their existing logo colors.

by Jess on March 26, 2009

We’ve done really well with the SEO for our new website, Imprinted Advertising Specialties. They’re on Google’s first page for almost everything we asked for. It’s continuing to be a good habit!

eCommerce Website Launched

by Jess on March 24, 2009

We’ve launched another new website today. The company, Ayleet Enterprises, came to us to create a new content-managed shopping cart site. Their previous site was self-designed and hosted on Yahoo!, but monthly fees and poor search results spurred them to look for another solution. They found us, and here we are!

Keep Current with Google Alerts

by Steve on March 17, 2009

This is a neat tool that has probably been around for a while, but we were forwarded an email from a client today who has Google Alert set up for his company name, and we noticed it there.

In Google’s own words, “Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.”

This is obviously great for watching news items, a specific industry or business, events, sports – whatever! You can even specify the time frame of how often Google should check for you. And, you can set up multiple alerts.

To set up your Google Alert, go to http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en
